Computer Association Nepal (CAN) Federation is going to organize Pre-Job Training targeting girls and women.
On the occasion of International Girls in ICT Day 2023 (International Girls in ICT Day 2023), the federation is going to organize the training from Baisakh 19 (May 2) for four days.
According to Sarita Singh, vice-president of the Federation and coordinator of the program, women will be trained in various preparatory matters before going to work.
On this occasion, Vice President Singh informed that the participants will be trained on corporate culture, office equipment handling, email and letter writing, personality development, time management, stress management, ICT related skills, leadership skills, group work, career selection, interview process etc.
According to her, each training session will last for one and a half hours. Women who have at least Plus or similar certificate can participate in this training.

On the initiative of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Girls in ICT Day is celebrated every year on the 27th of April. On this occasion, creative and creative programs are held all over the world to support women’s economic and social empowerment while ensuring access to technology.
