Laxmi Bank announces ‘My Mobile Money’ video contest, Chance to win Rs. 50,000

Marking the grand finale of its #DigitalDecember campaign, Laxmi Bank has announced “My Mobile Money” Video Contest to shed light on digital payment system in Nepal and to promote its mobile payment system.

The contest hopes to provide a path to give positive information on how Nepal can be truly digital in terms of payment services. What’s in it for you? You can win NPR. 2,50,000 just by creating a video on how you use Laxmi Bank’s mobile banking services, isn’t that cool? In this article, you will find all the information and rules that you have to follow to win that handsome amount.

About the Contest

This is a video contest where you can demonstrate how you use Laxmi Bank’s Mobile Money services. The candidates should demonstrate it by creative and informative story telling manner. The deciding factors for the winner to be chosen will be emotional appeal, creativity, story-telling and relevance to the campaign stated criteria. This could be a great opportunity for content creators and people willing to show their talent, while promoting digital banking and the digital Nepal campaign.

According to Bank there are five categories and winning video under each featured category will win NPR 50,000 for up to a total prize of NPR 250,000.

The video is supposed to show how you use the features of Mobile Money in your daily life. You’re allowed to submit up to 5 videos covering each of different categories of Mobile Money before the deadline. The details of submissions will be communicated to you later as you finish the registration process.

Winners will be judged by a panel of experts on the following criteria:

1. Creativity
2. Storytelling & Emotional Appeal
3. Relevance to the stated requirements

How to participate?

To participate in the contest, you must register before the registration deadline. The registration starts at 28 December 2020 and ends 5 January, 2021. You can find the registration in the bank’s website.

Download the Laxmi Bank Mobile Money App available on App Store and the Google Play Store, create a video of up to 3 minutes long, in standard video format (MP4 File Format) and you’re good to go.
