Japan’s Toyota raised its annual net profit forecast on Tuesday, reporting strong sales in all regions as a global semiconductor shortage eases.
The world’s top-selling automaker now expects to book a record net profit of 4.5 trillion yen ($30 billion) in the current financial year, compared with its previous forecast of 3.95 trillion yen.
