THREAT CON 2023 organized the “Capture the Flag (CTF) Competition” in Nepal. Now in its fifth year, THREAT CON has firmly established itself as a prominent gathering for cybersecurity and hacker enthusiasts, attracting a diverse range of participants.
Under the expert management of ThreatNix, THREAT CON 2023 continues the legacy of renowned global security events like Black Hat and DEF CON, underscoring their unwavering dedication to advancing cybersecurity solutions and promoting knowledge exchange.
A total of 38 teams, representing colleges and IT companies, participated in the event. All five prestigious titles were claimed by Softwarica College, located in Kathmandu, offering undergraduate degrees in Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity.
The winning team received a cash prize of NPR 10,000 and a prestigious OSCP (PEN200 Course + 90 days lab access + exam) certification valued at $1,599.
The second-place team was awarded a cash prize of NPR 7,500, along with the coveted Hack The Box (HTB) 1 Year VIP+ access worth $203, and two HTB 6 months VIP subscriptions valued at $168.
The third-place team earned a cash prize of NPR 5,000, along with Hack The Box (HTB) 1 Year VIP+ access worth $203, and HTB 6 months VIP access valued at $84.
