Sanskriti International School, a leading educational institution in Nepal, is proud to announce the grand opening of Nepal’s first school level Fab Lab, “Infinity FAB LAB” (Fabrication Laboratories) on its premises, at Halchowk, Kathmandu.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Craig Hansen, Academic Director of 3DI School, New Zealand, who marked the event as a significant milestone in the country’s educational landscape. The inauguration was followed by a visit program to showcase its newly inaugurated Fab Lab.
Ms. Pramila Devi Bajracharya, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, honored the event as the Chief Guest. Additionally, Ms. Maiya Laxmi Maharjan, Head of the Education Department from Ward 15, and Dr. Sarmila Pokhrel, Resource Person at Gita Mata Resource Center, Ward No. 15, also graced the event with their esteemed presence.
The event was also graced by representatives from Kathmandu University (KU) notable school leaders and Parent Representatives.

Fab Labs, short for Fabrication Laboratories, are state-of-the-art spaces that provide students with access to tools and technologies to explore the realms of digital fabrication, 3D printing, electronics, robotics, and much more. With this new addition, Sanskriti aims to empower its students with a hands-on, interdisciplinary learning experience, fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
The visit to the Infinity FAB LAB proved to be a highlight of the event, leaving the esteemed guests captivated by the range of innovative teaching tools and equipment. They experienced firsthand the limitless possibilities offered by the FAB LAB, which serves as a hub for creativity and hands-on learning.
